DAVID LU
Art

Fingerprint Maze is a fascinating collaborative installation (with Amy Franceschini and Michael Swainethat) that lets visitors wander through a maze built upon their fingerprint.

A custom scanner and macro photographic lens capture the print which is then turned into pixels on a 100×100 grid, a 2D labyrinth to be fed into a custom gaming application producing an interactive, 3D maze.
